The way forward is decentralized and federated food, content, and online social contact platforms. We’d love to have you on our show to present some recent developments in podcasting that promotes all three of the above mentioned.
If you wanna skip straight to the meat (ha) I would highly recommend checking out the Beef Initiative, it's a new international life style of sharing value!:
Wow, I am so surprised and saddened to hear this but I am also excited for you!! I know you have your very well thought-out reasons for leaving and starting your own thing. I look forward to continue supporting you in your next endeavor! 🥰
We need to build our communities of like-minded people who complement each other. I understand being closer to family but couldn't you bring your family closer to you where there's a community of like-minded folks working towards a mutual benefit? I guess I'm just sad to hear that you're leaving and I wish you the best.
Will you still be posting here or will this morph into the new youtube endeavor?
I applaud you stepping out into the space.
I think we need a solutions base source, for those who have no idea how to navigate what is coming...and it's is going to be ALLOT.
Many saw preppers as crazy and never gave a thought to ANY semblance of being prepared...they will be the first to perish, unless given some guidance.
Many are happy to live in the fog of their gaming, door dash and sports/hollywood distractions...and have no idea what they would do, if it all went away over night.
You two could fill a needed resource gap and help quite a few, that are adrift...but don't know it yet.
Love this. I also feel that we are not so far gone that we're doomed to civil war inevitably. I'm definitely looking forward to practical discussions on how we can prevent any further societal descent into utter chaos, because I also have a child to raise here.
I think the best we all can do is share our skills and knowledge with the world. I'd like to see Andy put out videos on handyman work, but would like to know more about car maintenance, gardening, canning, and anything that would be beneficial to know when the lights are out.
Funny to think, but all this time as a Timcast member, I don't know what all Lyds' specialties are. When I read a rumor about you guys leaving, I had wondered if you were doing a Femcast IRL, with mostly-all female guests, but it sounds like maybe a different direction is coming. Congratulations you two. Hope the family gets going smoothly. I look forward to the youtube content.
it breaks my heart knowing you won't be there anymore Lyds! best of wishes to you and hubby, will follow you through whatever enterprise you decide to embark in!
That sounds awesome. I think one way for creative artists to enrich and build their art is to consider that not everyone is the same. It's important in any creative aspect to consider all sides and discuss what is important to the human experience, not just from a political angle. If you want a story that talks about each side of the human angle, read Andre Dubus the II "In the Bedroom." It's a haunting and timeless experience that somehow manages to cross all borders, while managing to appease a literary crowd, but also entertain, too. Stories like this, and new stories can help humanity find productive ways on moving forward and releasing tension and anger in productive ways. But also critiquing is important because it helps the audience give valuable perceptions, too. If the artist is to exist and create, the audience must, too.
But I trust you will find what makes your show unique and you'll be great at it as well. I will miss your calm voice over Tim's downcast "Charlie Brown like gloom." (just a joke, but maybe it isn't). But you'll be great at it regardless.

You should also check out http://www.FarmMatch.com/root for all your farm direct food from independent regenerative farms.
Yeaaaaaa boi this is what we need!
I actually helped design the FarmMatch Affiliate program. My friend Max founded it. We hope to help decentralize and secure the food system!
Lydia! I'll definitely miss your calm presence on Timcast, but I'm excited for you, and can't wait to see what you build. Subbed to your YT channel!

Your TD work for TimCastIRL was excellent! I look forward to adding your new effort to my regular media diet.

Very exciting! Love the constructive, creative approach. Will be tuning in!
Good for you, Lydia. I have subscribed to your YouTube channel.
What’s her channel by chance? Thanks

Good for you! If I can turn my finances around, I plan on getting a homestead to weather what is coming. But community is key to all of it!
